“Repeat After Me” and “Carried Away” Take home 2011 awards

A great final night of the 2011 Reality Bytes Student Film Festival.  The night started off with a screening of Mike Ramsdell’s film, “Anatomy of Hate” After the screening Mike stuck around for almost an hour to answer questions about his his film, his upcoming projects, and how to make it as a filmmaker.

After that Dr. Vazquez announced the awards for the competition. The top fiction film, as chosen by our panel of judges was, “Repeat After Me” directed by Bryan Bangerter from Point Loma Nazarene University, in San Diego, which was also awarded the top audience choice on the first day of the festival

The top documentary was also awarded, and the winner of that award was “Carried Away” by Corinne Colgan from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.  Thanks again to everyone for a great year.
